Robert Graham was born in Mexico City, Mexico on August 19, 1938 and moved to California as a young child. Graham used a range of materials and scales in his work and created hundreds of nude figures and groupings in intermediate scales. He was inducted into the California Hall of Fame on December 15, 2008. Graham died twelve days after the ceremony on December 27, 2008.
